Four holiday cottages and a glamping wagon await you, sleeping 20 in the winter and up to 26 in the summer. Our secluded West Sussex holiday cottages are close to Chichester, to sandy beaches at West Wittering, and the South Downs.
By day, play games in the large meadow and by night create memories around the dinner table before stargazing in the bubbling hot tubs.

Discover Oakwood West
Four holiday cottages, all luxuriously decorated to a high specification, with private hot tubs and gardens await you. Sleeping up to 26 in summer and 20 in winter, we have a beautiful site with a large meadow perfect for summer games, sunbathing, and spending time with those you love.
We're close to Chichester and Bosham, in a secluded spot in West Ashling. Each of the four holiday cottages have stunning decor, luxuriously comfortable beds, wood burning stoves, outdoor space and a hot tub. The cottages are close to each other but spaced to give privacy and peace. There is plenty of space to enjoy socialising as a group and then the joy of returning to recharge and relax in your own cottage. All of the cottages are accessible with downstairs sleeping options and bathrooms with walk in showers. Dogs are welcome.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Your guests will all get to experience a truly luxurious stay, with comfortable beds, gorgeous bedsheets, and master bedrooms all with their own fabulous features. There are flexible sleeping options including a sofa bed, three doubles that can be transformed into twin beds, and two single futons for children.
Lucky's Stable sleeps six plus one additional child and has two upstairs bedrooms, each with a double bed and space for a cot or futon. Both have a Velux balcony, perfect for a quiet moment. The rooms share a bathroom which has a shower. Downstairs there is the third bedroom with a super king bed that can be separated into twin beds. Another bathroom with a shower is located next to the this bedroom.
Silhouette's Stable sleeps four plus one additional child and has two upstairs double bedrooms, both rooms have space for a cot or futon. There is also a sofa bed in the living area, with a privacy partition. There is a bathroom on each floor, both with a shower.
Fern Lodge sleeps 6 and has a master suite on the first floor with a sheltered balcony and panoramic views over the South Downs. There is also a gorgeous dressing area and stylish en-suite with a shower. It's the largest bedroom on site, with a king size bed and space for a cot or futon. Downstairs you'll find the curtained alcove bed, with the night sky hand painted onto the ceiling, always beloved by children, and the second bedroom with a super king bed that can be separated into two singles. There is another modern bathroom downstairs with a shower.
Meadow Hide has a master bedroom with a king size bed and a secret terrace with two swinging chairs overlooking the wildlife meadow. The second bedroom has a super king bed which can be converted to two singles and there is room for a cot or futon. There is one bathroom with a shower.
The Gypsy Wagon can be booked in the warmer months (April - September). Inside there is a double bed, surrounded by fabulous William Morris wallpaper. A toilet & shower are located close by in the facilities block. The bed is high up & steps must be climbed to access the wagon. You can also hire an unfurnished canvas bell tent which can sleep up to four guests.
Outside Space
All of the holiday cottages have a private fenced garden with a hot tub, decked terrace, comfortable seating, & BBQ. Lucky's Stable has a 200 square metre lawn, with the largest decked area complete with a magnificent outdoor fireplace and built in BBQ. Next door Silhouette's Stable has a perfectly formed terrace surrounded by lavender with a small lawn. Fern Lodge has a garden perfect for playing in, complete with a fire pit, swing chairs and a view over a gate into the wildlife meadow. Upstairs the master bedroom has a gorgeous balcony, overlooking the South Downs, a quiet place for morning coffee and twilight drinks. Meadow Hide is a peaceful retreat with a smaller deck, and a secret terrace with swing chairs accessed from the master bedroom. You'll also have sole use of the large meadow, which is perfect for picnics & summer games. Each cottage has designated parking for at least two cars.
Kitchens & Dining
Our self catering cottages have well equipped & thoroughly modern kitchens. Each has a dishwasher & washing machine, except for Meadow Hide. You'll find cafetieres in each, plus all of the dishes, cutlery, and glasses that you'll need. Lucky's Stable has the largest kitchen, complete with a range cooker and a large fridge freezer with an ice machine. It's also the place to gather for family meals, seating 16 inside and 20 outside. Fern Lodge also has an ice machine inbuilt in the fridge. If you love al fresco dining you're in for a treat as each of the cottages has a BBQ & outdoor seating. Lucky's Stable has a statement outdoor kitchen with work surfaces & a large inbuilt BBQ, designed for cooking for large gatherings.

General Information
Our prices include bed linen and towels and a load of logs for each fireplace, with the exception of the add on bell tent which is unfurnished.
Dogs are not allowed in the glamping units.
Stag & hen parties are not permitted.
Check in is from 4pm with check out by 10am.
Arrival & departure days are Monday & Friday.
Minimum stay 3 nights at the weekend, 4 nights mid-week.
